Happy Turkey Day...

Thanksgiving is a fun day for us.
This is one of my favorite holidays.
(Probably because I was born on Thanksgiving.)
I love spending time with family.
We started the day off celebrating Khloe's 3rd birthday!
The frost was so beautiful on all the trees and bushes.
It even started to snow a bit throughout the day, our first snowfall... YAY!!!
Craig was home so we spent the day with the girls.
It was fun spending the entire day together.

We went to Grandma & Grandpa Benefiel's
for our Thanksgiving Dinner. Yummy!!!

Cousins...
Ethan, Kelsey, Khloe and Kimber...
I am most grateful for my family!

Khloe is 3!

WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE???
I can't believe my baby is 3!
Khloe's birthday fell on Thanksgiving this year.
She is such a sweet little mama's girl! She is truly a happy little girl, especially when she's with her mommy. She adores her sisters and loves her daddy. She is a bundle of fun for all of us!
True Khloe fashion, sucking her thumb!
It's an inherited Bergmann trait...
Mommy made cupcakes and she was so excited when she blew out the candles
that we lit them a total of 3 times so she could keep blowing them out!
Khloe got a new baby from Grandma & Grandpa Washington.
She was so cute with it. She changed it's poopy diaper,
fed it, rocked it when it cried, and loves it tons!
We feel truly blessed to have our little Khloe.
She is a light in our family and a true miracle!
Love you lots Khloe!

Happy Birthday to me...

I had a great birthday with my girls!
Craig had to work ALL day, I mean ALL day! So the girls and I spent the day together.
I even had a little birthday cake that the girls helped me eat!
When Craig got home, he surprised me with a babysitter.
We went to dinner and a movie and had a great time!

You may ask, "How old is Tami?" Well, according to Kimber I am 28! How did she come to that figure? Well let me explain. She asked me how old I was turning and naturally I told her the truth, 29. She then proceeded to tell me I was wrong because we share the same number,
since she is turning 8 this next week, then that means I am turning 28.
She told me this with such surety and conviction, I couldn't correct her.
So I'll take it! I'm 28! LOL

Kelsey gets a haircut...

Kelsey has been wanting a haircut for quite a long time. She cries every time mommy gets the brush out to brush her hair, she hates it! We were trying to have her grow it out to 10 inches so she could donate it to "locks of love". It was at 8 inches and mom was scared that she would pull a "Kimber" and cut it herself, so we didn't want to wait for 2 more inches for fear that that would never come! We did find a place that will take 8 inches, so we were in luck!
This is how long Kelsey's hair WAS!
This is Daddy puttin' it in a ponytail and hacking away at it!

This is daddy trying to fix his hack job!
Mommy stepped in and was able to fix Kelsey's hair!
Here is Kelsey's newly shortened hair!
(This picture does not do her hair justice, it looks even cuter curled under...)
I did a pretty good job on fixing it, if I don't say so myself!
It doesn't hurt that Kelsey is just too cute anyway!

Lots of new posts to view...

We finally got our computer fixed and so I've been playing catch up. There are lots of new posts to view, I hope you enjoy them!

Happy Halloween!

We really did end up having a Happy Halloween!
It started of rocky... Kelsey came home from school with only half of her costume. So I called transportation and we went to their office to see if she left it on the bus. They told me they checked the bus and it wasn't there. Then we drove over to the school, found the janitor and asked him to open up her class room to see if she left it there. It wasn't there. So we got home in time to grab a quick bite to eat, then our friends came over to trick or treat with us. We ended up turning Kelsey into a gypsie princess in purple. (Don't know what happened to the rest of Snow White.) The girls had tons of fun trick or treating and getting their candy. This was Kelsey's year, she couldn't get to the houses fast enough! We kept telling her to slow down and wait for the little ones!
The girls in their costumes...

With our friend, trick or treating...

Loved this skeleton in the grass, so we posed with it!

We met up with some cousins and finished out the night.

After trick or treating we went to "grandma next door", she is yet another grandma to the girls and we used to live next door to her, hence the name... We had fun visiting, drinking hot chocolate and eating fresh scones!
Next we headed over to grandma and grandpa's for some pizza and to check out the candy that the girls were eager to eat. We had a great nite and even though Kelsey didn't get to be Snow White, she still had a blast!

PS ~ Kelsey came home on Monday with the rest of her costume. It was on the bus!

School Halloween Parties!

Ok, so I have a new found respect for teachers...
Every year the girl's school does a Halloween parade,
so Kelsey and I went in the morning to see Kimber in her parade, then
I volunteered to help in Kimber's class in the morning for her Halloween party.
I helped the kids make 3 D pumpkins.
Had lots of fun, took Kelsey with me, she was a great little helper.
Then, went home, picked up Khloe from the sitter and took her with me
to help in Kelsey's class in the afternoon for her Halloween party.
Khloe and I watched Kelsey in her parade with all the afternoon Kindergarten kids
visiting the other classes in school and showing off their costumes.
I got to help with the candy corn drop which was lots of fun and
funny to see the kids try to make the candy corn land in the jar!
Khloe had fun traveling around the class and sampling all the candy and cookies!
By the time I got home, I was exhausted! I totally fell asleep on the couch and missed getting the girls from the bus stop. Thankgoodness they are big enough to walk up the street together!
Kelsey is snacking on her Halloween cookie!
Kelsey as Snow White in the parade!

Kimber as Sleeping Beauty in her parade...

Kimber making her craft in her class.
I love Halloween and seeing how much fun the kids have.
But I've realized, I am way to old to be going all day.
I need a nap!

Carving da pumpkins...

We had so much fun this year carving pumpkins... we let the girls draw the faces on then mom and dad helped carve them in. Kelsey had a ton of fun with her marker and colored all over the pumpkin (did you know that the "magic eraser" will get marker off of pumpkins?!) Khloe was just excited to have her pumpkin carved at all this year (usually she gets a little pumpkin and we let her color all over it and that's it!). Kimber and dad got creative with her pumpkin and made some big ol' teeth to match Kimber's!
Kimber's master piece, kinda looks like her
with her new big teeth growing in! hehehe
Kelsey's huge pumpkin,
half orange, half green...

Khloe's little pumpkin,
nice tooth!
Mom and dad helping to carve the pumpkins...
The girls with their pumpkin beauties...
The glowing pumpkins....

Pumpkin Patch for Craig B.'s Family...

Picking our pumpkins out in the pumpkin patch!Hauling our pumpkins over to be weighed.
The total weight for 3 pumpkins was over 60 pounds!

The self-made pumpkin launcher!
We got to see a pumpkin launched
way up in the air and across the road to a field.
It was totally cool!
Khloe and Kelsey in the maze...

The girls sittin' on the tractor...
Huge tires!
We had such a good time going to the pumpkin patch. We went to a new one this year and loved it so much, we're planning on going there next year. Not only did we get our pumpkins, we got to see pumpkins being launched in the air, we got to play in old cars and sit on huge tractors, go in a maze, see some minature ponys and see some mountain goats. It was a great evening!

Harvest Day for Kelsey

Kelsey's Kindergarten class went on a field trip to
the pumpkin patch and apple orchard.
Mom got to tag along and be Kelsey's buddy for the day.
What a great way to spend the day!
Kelsey with her Green Pumpkin,
we had such a short summer that not all the pumpkins turned orange!
The "hay ride" we took around the orchard.

Kelsey picking her apple, yummy!!!

Trunk or Treat

We had a Trunk Or Treat with our Ward. The girls had a blast trying out their costumes. (Our trunk or treat was 2 weeks before Halloween.) The girls got some practice in (getting candy) and looked great in their costumes.
Khloe was a bride, Kelsey was Snow White and Kimber was Sleeping Beauty...

Been awhile...

Well, we've been experiencing some computer problems, so it's been awhile since I've posted anything. Hopefully we will get the computer up and running soon so I can post some pictures. Our laptop works, but my pics are on my PC. We had a fun October with Halloween, costumes, trick or treat and trunk or treat. Hope to post some more info real soon!
