End of Summer Fun...

Chuck E. Cheese

(back row) Kelsey, Khloe
For the end of summer, I wanted to take the kids somewhere fun. I babysit Grady and Claire, and have been since they were both 3 years old, now they are 5 and starting Kindergarten this school year. After this week, I won't be babysitting Claire anymore because she goes to a different school, but I still get to babysit Grady, (cuz he goes to the same school as Kelsey). So this was a sort of
'End of Summer/Babysitting Party'. Kelsey, Khloe, Kimber, Claire & Grady

Khloe loves to ride the horses...

Kesley, turning the hands of time!

Kimber in the air...

We stayed for hours and everyone had tons of fun! (Even mom had fun!) I'm sure going to miss my Claire-bear!

Mobius Kids Museum

The girls read books for the Library Summer program and got free tickets to Mobius Kids Museum. So we called up our friends, the Mears, and headed downtown to the Museum. The girls had so much fun playing, exploring, dressing up, and using their imaginations. It was tons of fun!

Kimber in her prime, doing artwork...

After our 2+ hour stay at the Museum, we headed across the street to Red Robin for a yummy lunch! (Although by that time, the younger two were definitely ready for naps!)

Three little fish at Loon Lake...

Kimber, the fish...

Kelsey, the floater...

Khloe, the safe girl on the shore...

Kimber & Kels playing in the sand...

Our little Klo-Bo!
We had a great friday at Loon Lake with the Shogan's! The girls are such fish this year, especially Kimber. She doesn't even have to wear a life jacket this year, which is a big feat because last year she wouldn't go near the water without it! Kelsey loves when we go to the lake cuz she can munch out all day on goodies! She comes in from the water, grabs a handful of chips, cookies, or candy and heads right back out! Then there is Khloe, she just moves around the table of food and picks at everything! Then goes to play in the sand and comes back for more! And of course mom is the leader of the pack, munchin' on the food and visiting with friends.
We had a great time and are so lucky to have such great friends to share it with!

The Airshow and the Blue Angels

Khloe wasn't too fond of the noise the airplanes made!

The Blue Angels

Kelsey and Khloe on a chopper!
We went to the airshow at the Air Force base on August 9th.We had fun seeing all the different airplanes. The best part was watching the Blue Angels fly and do all their tricks. The girls liked it ok, but they would rather go check out the bouncy castle and the food! We got to walk thru an airplane carrier craft, it was HUGE! The most exciting part (NOT) of our day was waiting in the parking lot for over an hour just to get to a road on the Airforce base that would take us out to the main road so we could get home! It was the longest hour ever! We survived, thank goodness!

Kimber's adventure....

Grami & Kimber
Kylie & Kimber

~cousins~

Kimber is having a blast in California! She has gotten to go to Disneyland, the beach, Uncle Carl's pool, San Diego, Ty's pool and on lots of errands with Grami and Papa John! She is a little "surf girl", cuz Papa John got her a boogie board and she can ride the waves now! She is having so much fun and I am so glad that she has this opportunity to make some great memories with her grandparents, and cousins too. She comes home in 4 days and I can't wait! I miss her tons!

Kimber's first solo trip to L.A.

We sent Kimber off on an airplane all by herself to go visit Grami and Papa John. I can't believe my baby is old enough to do this by herself! She said she had fun on the flight, she liked looking out the window and seeing how small everything was. She didn't partake of the "free snacks" because mommy packed her a bunch in her backpack, but she did get some soda! My mom called to let us know she arrived safely. So far, she's being a gem, (time will tell). Her 2 week trip may turn into something much shorter... but I have faith that she will keep being a gem. Mom and John have so many fun things planned for her.

But you know what, I already miss her!
